    2002
  • 2002 was the year ARC Studio won their first major architecture competition – The Pinnacle@Duxton, Singapore's iconic public housing project. This was a much publicised event, and the founders felt that a new and appropriate visual identity was needed to communicate what the studio represented.

The acronym ‘ARC’, which stands for Architecture Research Collective, was the departure point for the design of the identity as it highlights ARC Studio’s strength as a research and team orientated architectural practice. The logo has the letters ‘r’ and ‘c’ playfully arranged to form the letter ‘a’, overall representing 'architecture'. The cyan-ish pantone colour is retained from their previous identity as an element from their past history.
