An initiative funded by the wife of the late President Ong Teng Cheong, the Ong Siew May Distinguished Lecture Series was held at the NUS Architecture School, and consists of invited speakers/architects from around the world.
The logo’s skeleton forms the letter ‘O’ which represents ‘Ong Siew May’. This basic structure acts as an empty and open ‘container’ ready to embrace the identities of various guest lecturers which make up the totality of the lecture series’ identity. Inspired by library book stamps and stamps of approval, the overall logo is time dependent and changes based on the content provider of each lecture.
