President’s Design

Award 2011

DesignSingapore Council
2011

The President’s Design Award (PDA) is Singapore’s highest design accolade. It recognises good design in the fields of architecture and urban design, fashion design, industrial and product design, interior design and visual communication.

H55 conceptualised the theme ‘Multipli-city’ for the President’s Design Award 2011 ceremony. The theme celebrates not only the multitude of talents, ideas, and designs that this award has recognised through its history, but also the positive ‘multiplier effect’ the award recipients have generated with their designs.

To represent the theme ‘Multipli-city’, the President’s Design Award 2011 motif was created by multiplying single graphic units, each a derivative of the next.
